Contacts have been made with the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Both universities have groups working on the neutrino oscillation programme at Daya Bay. The universities in Hong Kong have expressed much interest in exploring ways and means to collaborate with CERN. The first student from Hong Kong participated in the CERN Summer Student Programme in 2010 and possibilities are being explored for launching ‘sandwich’ programmes of graduate studies with CERN.
