Nepal

Several collaborative activities have been undertaken between Nepal and CERN in recent years. Students from Nepal have been participating in the CERN Summer Student Programme, high school teachers have taken part in the CERN High School Teacher Programme and several workshops, education and outreach events have been held in Nepal. Kathmandu University hosted a regional workshop on 20-21 June 2017 to strengthen scientific collaboration between CERN and South Asia (SAHEPI-1).

An International Cooperation Agreement (ICA) between Nepal and CERN, signed on 19 September 2017, provides the framework for strengthening cooperation.
