Arts and Public Events Curation

The Arts and Public Events Curation section connects CERN with citizens through curated events, and with the arts world, by fostering dialogues between artists and physicists at the Lab. The section works closely with other sections in the ECO group in developing content, implementing its activities, and empirically evaluating the group’s outreach programmes.

  • Curation and programming of events for the public
  • Artistic residencies, art commissions, exhibitions
  • Evaluation research

The section’s activities include programming, curating, implementing and strategically developing:

The section also carries out empirical research on in-person interactions between scientists and the public within the group’s outreach activities (e.g. the CERN Open Days, CERN Science Gateway)
