As part of the Education, Communication, and Outreach group, this section is responsible for the development and production of CERN exhibitions, both on-site and off an including CERN’s new Science Gateway. Section expertise covers hands-on exhibit development, social science research, prototyping, arts curation and editorial.

Activities

Define, produce and update exhibitions for

Carry out audience research to inform all development work and measure impact

Disseminate hands-on exhibits, interactives and media content across CERN Member States, through collaborations with external exhibition partners

Improve accessibility to CERN’s exhibitions for all

Commission artworks for on-site exhibitions, in collaboration with Arts at CERN

Manage CERN’s object heritage collection and associated loan programme
