Following a visit to CERN by the Mozambican President in 2009, an agreement has been established with the Minister of Science and Technology and the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane with a view to facilitate training opportunities for Mozambican students and teachers. Mozambican students and high-school teachers have been trained at CERN through the Summer Student and High School Teacher programmes.
